The many faces of Stress Relief

Every different type of Stress Relief Technique is really important to have a happy, healthy body. I’ve always found a good Stress Relief Cd has a massive impact on my mind space. One of the main reasons I like Stress Relief Cds is that fact that they are a type of Natural Stress Relief. I’ve never really been a big one for taking drugs to give me any type of relief. I look at drugs like the final line of defence after every other option is exhausted.

I’ve also found a really good Stress Relief Exercise is to stretch your body. When you do this you increase the flow of blood through your body, and it’s not too strenuous to make you loose your breath. This is one of the reasons Yoga and Stress Relief have been so closely linked together, as yoga is a very slow and focus and at the same time is excellent for your flexibility. Understand, with any series of deep breathing exercises stress relief is almost a given. With so many different techniques out there always focus on the goal, which is of course, Stress Relief.

Clowns need Stress Relief too You Know!

Always Happy and Jovial clowns must sometimes be doing it tough. Look at them, when do they get to release the pressure that builds up inside. Let’s face it, we all have crap moments that can sometimes affect our entire day. Of course some of us have more crap days than others. So what Stress Relief Techniques can a clown use to Relieve Stress? There’s the good ole boot a kid at a kiddy party. Sure that’s a form of Natural Stress Relief, but that would be plain wrong! Clowns just, like you and me, need some sort of Stress Relief Exercise that doesn’t do harm to themselves or those around them. I mean you don’t want them building some sort of Stress Relief Complex would you? All good clowns should choose some sort of Stress Relief CD to listen to. If a Clown can find something with Deep Breathing Exercises Stress Relief will follow. As a bonus if the clown would like to experience Stress Relief and put on a show at the same time, he could do a bit Yoga and Stress Relief. I’m sure you’d pay money to see that, I know I would.

Today, if you’re out in the world and you see a stressed clown, give them a hug, give encouragement and offer support. After all, clowns are people too you know!

Is Natural Stress Relief really a better option?

The society we live in today is all about the quick fix, and there are always many different quick fixes available for many different illnesses, especially Stress Relief.  Which is better; Natural Stress Relief or the Medical Treatment?  I would never say one is better than the other (even though I have a strong opinion on the subject) as that would suggest this post is favouring one side, and that’s not the point of it.

You see, one of the best ways you can gain an understanding of the best Stress Relief Techniques is by discovery through knowledge.  Using this method you’ll normally learn the best method for you.

Also, keep an open mind when seeking Stress Relaxation Techniques.  There may a technique or method you may be unfamiliar with and you may shut your mind off to it.  By keeping and open mind you will be presented with a greater number of choices and you will understand why one method is more effective than the other.  As a supporter of Stress Relief, Relaxation Techniques and Stress Management I believe finding the right method will be the difference to experiencing true Relaxation or loosing hope after trying something that wasn’t right for you in the first place.  This will give you a solid foundation to understanding the best Stress Management Techniques and will help you to answer if Natural Stress Relief is really a better option for you.

The link between Stress Relief and Cholesterol

A recent article by CBS News shows the better you cope with stress and more often you use stress relief techniques, the better your cholesterol level is likely to be.

The Study was released at the 115th annual convention of the American Psychological Association and discussed the 716 men that took part in the Normative Aging Study.  The average age of most participants were 65 and were evenly spilt between white collar and blue collar workers.

The study asked them to rate 26 different coping strategies they used as stress relief techniques.  Some were unhealthy like blaming themselves for stress or isolating themselves from others.  But there were also other positive stress relief strategies like planning how to overcome it and seeking help.

It has been known for years that stress affects your cholesterol levels and the more you experience stress the worse bad cholesterol (LDL) is present.  Stress basically raises total cholesterol and also raises LDL Levels.

What does LDL have to do with Cholesterol and Stress Relief? To give you the really short version of a long story there are two different types of Cholesterol, HDL (High-density lipoproteins) and LDL (Low-density lipoproteins).  HDL is composed mainly of proteins and only a small amount of cholesterol and is known as good protein .  LDL is mainly composed of cholesterol, has very little protein and is known as bad cholesterol. LDL is primarily responsible for depositing cholesterol within arteries that can cause heart disease.

So you now understand the importance of reducing your LDL levels but how does that stop stress?

We all experience stress everyday, and it’s about eliminating stress but more important it’s about is your ability to handle stress.  If you use effective stress relaxation techniques like a stress relief CD, stress relief program or other stress relief exercises you can change how you’re body handles the stress.  Interesting the strategies that show the greatest result are generally forms of natural stress relief The key is to find positive ways to reduce and handle your stress at work, with your family and other areas of your life.  If left unattended you may suffer a heart attack or even worse.

Stress, is Stress, is Stress, is … you get the picture.

We all experience different types of stress everyday.  There’s stress from deadlines, conflicts, personal fears, misunderstandings, new tasks and public speaking just to name a few.  With all the different types of stress it’s understandable people need different stress management tips to cope.

But very few people consider what your body interprets as stress.  Consider for a moment the symptoms of stress and how similar they are to anxiety attack symptomssweaty palms, rapid breathing, butterflies, nervousness, muscle tension, loss of sleep, etc.  These symptoms can be experienced under negative stress, but can also be experienced during good times; For example when you meet someone you like, or when you’ve been given a promotion at work, if you’ve won a prize or you’re entering a competition.  The key here is not actually about the stress it’s how you handle it and release it.  It could be a good Stress Relief CD, some sort of sport, relaxing with friends, reading a book or even sleeping.  There are even really positive links between yoga and stress relief.  These are all very good and there are many other stress management tips available on the internet for stress relief if you look.  There are even some really good Relaxation Techniques for Kids which are very important especially when kids are going through that age of development.

The key here (as I mentioned earlier) is how you handle it and release it.  Good stress and bad stress needs to be released eventually.  Better to release it before it impacts on your body.

Is Nude Streaking really just a form of Stress Relief?

Nude Streaking. Why do it? What does it mean? I have to ask, does it really have to mean something? Could it just mean your plain bonkers and want everyone else to see (at the same time seeing all your private parts)? My first nude streaking experience happened many years ago, at a party. Surprisingly enough, I’d had a really stressful week. I wanted to break free from my life. I was thinking what I could do to achieve stress relief and it came to me like a message from god.

As I peeled off the layers that day I was nervous as hell. It was a brisk night and I could feel a breeze against my skin. Within minutes I would become a changed person. No longer to be known as Boring Don I engaged in my form of Natural Stress Relief. Sure, there were probably other Stress Relief Techniques I could’ve used, but this said exactly what I wanted it to say … I felt so free.

I may be loopy, and a little mad, but hey, aren’t we all? Whatever Stress Relief Techniques you use, make them good. Get out there, live life. Show the world what you’re made of (ha, ha, get it, what you’re made of).

It takes just 20 minutes a day to keep the Stress Monster away

I remember when I was a child.  Days seemed to go on forever, there was always something to do and I was always getting up to some sort of mischief.

As I grew up, things definitely change.  I took on extra responsibilities, got a job, strived for direction in life and more of my life became about time, money and relationships. Everything starts to speed up and I seemed to have less time than before.

The stress monster can easily creep up on you and you can begin to feel the pressure of everyday life with deadlines, responsibilities, family pressures and stress at work.

You know stress is always there though, in everyone’s life, but it’s a question of how you handle it.  Some of us deal with it by becoming aggressive and snappy at those around them or other negative responses.  If you handle it this way then your stress will continue to build up with really bad side effects.

There is another way.  By investing just 20 minutes a day using Natural stress relief techniques like Meditation, stress relief CD’s, relaxation breathing techniques, Yoga and Relaxation Programs will offer natural relief from any stress that builds up in your day.  The benefits of using different natural stress relief techniques are countless.  Some of the immediate benefits include:

—> Feeling happier

—> Improvement in Immune system

—> Lowering of blood pressure

—> Release of built up stress

—> Improved concentration

—> Feeling calmer and more energetic

—> Enjoying a more restful sleep

Natural Stress Relief has no negative side effects and makes you feel good.  Remember, there are different stressors in everybody’s life (in other words, things that push your buttons) but by using natural stress relief for 20 minutes a day they won’t affect you the same way and you’ll be able to tackle them head on.

The Stress Relief Escape Plan

Unless your name is Bruce Willis there’s a pretty good chance you won’t be called out to save the world.  But you and Bruce do have something in common.  You both know what it’s like to experience overwhelming stress and you both need to have a good stress relief escape plan to deal with it.

You see, stress (especially chronic stress) can be so draining on your life and lifestyle.  If left unattended it can slowly affect your mind, body and eventually your spirit.  With this in mind it is important to understand and acknowledge when you’re under stress, and as mentioned earlier have a really good stress relief plan.

Listen to your body’s Stress

The first step is to pay attention to your body and its messages.  Here are some of the tell tale signs of stress:

—> You find yourself getting angry easily and acting short at others,

—> You feel tension building up around your shoulders and temple,

—> It’s becoming hard to sleep at night or you need drugs or medication to sleep

—> You’re grinding your teeth when you’re sleeping

—> You constantly feel tired

—> You’ve had a cold or flu for ages and can’t seem to shake it.

All of these may be signs you’re stressed and need relaxation techniques to experience relief.

Have a Game Plan for Stress Relief

Let’s face it, we all experience stress in our lives, but the key is to manage it before it builds up too much and causes damage. Here are some of the natural stress relief techniques you can include in your stress relief plan:

—> Avoid negative stress – If you know that you’re going to place yourself in a stressful situation in the first place you can just say ‘No’.  Many people do this in their work environment by over committing themselves.

—> Relaxation breathing techniques – This is a good way of eliminating your stress instantly.  Check out this technique here.

—> Stress relief CD / Meditation CD – A Relaxation / Meditation CD will guide you through a set process for relaxation.  This should be used regularly for maximum benefits.

—> Regular Exercise – This is great at dealing with stress (especially for men).  If you haven’t exercised for a while it’s important to start with low intensity and build up over time.  For maximum benefits you should also change your diet to eat heaps of healthy food.

—> Visualization techniques for relaxation – If you find it difficult to sleep at night then visualization techniques could be just the thing.  You may learn how to do this or be lead through a process by using a stress relief program or meditation CD.

—> Stress relief program – A good stress relief program will include a process for meditation, stress relief techniques and a journal to record your thoughts and progress.

—> Other stress management skills – This includes spending time with friends, time saving solutions, taking a hot bath, reading a book and watching a movie/ your favorite show.

Set aside time for stress relief today … you never know when you might have to go out and save the world after all ;)

Here’s why Monkeys never feel Stressed

There are tons of different Relaxation Techniques to help overcome Stress. Many techniques involve popping a pill or taking an injection. But I am a huge fan of the natural/organic way of treating stress. After all … you never know the long term side effects when you go down the path of drugs.

A Recent Study by a professor at CCNY told his psych class about bananas. He said the expression "going bananas" is from the effects of bananas on the brain. Here’s the low down on Bananas - Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.

But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses, conditions and overcome Stress Relief, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Here’s how one of the simplest Stress Relief Techniques can give you Stress Relief - Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.

When you consider the number of Stress Relief Techniques out there isn’t it cool to think there’s a tasty fruit that will help with Stress Relief? I’m not saying if you’re stressed you should just pop a banana in your mouth and all will be ok. This should still be used in combination with well a well planned Stress Relief Exercise.
